VARDER, ROBERT WILLIAM, 'Ivydale', 8, Lincoln Road, Walton, 13188, Private, 6th Northamptonshire Regiment. Died from wounds and starvation 19.1.19 at Fulham Military Hospital, being repatriated from Germany as a prisoner of war 1.1.17 after having been cruelly treated by the enemy. Buried in Peterborough (Paston) Churchyard.

VARDER, SAMUEL LORIMER, 'Ivydale', 8, Lincoln Road, Walton, 7135, Sergeant, 1st Kings Own Scottish Borderers. Killed in action around 26.4.15 at the landing on 'T' Beach, Gallipoli. Commemorated on Helles Memorial, Panels 84/92.
